Thou shalt know the difference between dating and courtship. Dating: no goal, private between the couple, open relationship Courtship: publicly overseen, exclusive, has a goal. 2. Thou shalt not pursue a non-Christian. 3. Thou shalt look for a wife where the believing women are. 4. Thou shalt court a wife through her father, provided she has a good one. 5. Thou shalt only pursue a woman who will make a Godly wife and mother. 6. Thou shalt be in one relationship at a time. 7. Thou shalt have no sexual contact until the appropriate time. 8. Thou shalt pursue holiness, humility, hard work, and hospitality instead of a husband. 9. Thou shalt choose to love the one you marry. 10. Thou shalt ask for God’s help daily.
