A man told a professional golfer that his gorilla friend could hit a golf ball 500 yards down the middle on every shot. The golfer laughed and bet the man $1,000 that he could beat the gorilla on the 505-yard first hole. The men stood back as the gorilla picked up a driver and teed off first. Sure enough, the ball went 500 yards down the middle and ended up 500 yards down the middle and ended up five yards from the cup. The astonished golfer said, "My goodness! I have no chance on this hole, so I won't even bother to drive. Here's your $1,000." The man took the money from the golfer and started to walk away. The golfer called to him, "by the way, how is the gorilla at putting?" The man said, "Just as I said--- he hits the ball 500 yards down the middle on every shot."
