Recently there was talk about making lemonade if life gives you lemons.

One person even went so far as to suggest that we just pinch her in the behind, if she turns her back on us.

The optimist would find a way to make lemons into lemonade, but the quality of the lemonade may vary depending on how badly life is treating us.

What if your lemons are poor health, poverty, victim of terrorism or natural disaster, what if you lose your limbs or your spouse in a war.

When the fruits of life are so bitter, the lemonade will be bitter, too.

Then we can only count our blessings, focus on anything good remaining in our lives to escape the bad.
